More than a festival — a front door to the services, programs, and pathways built for the multicultural Gold Coast.
Unlike traditional cultural festivals, this expo is focused entirely on information, access, and engagement.
The Gold Coast Multicultural Expo exists to close the gap between the services people need and the people who don't know those services exist. It isn't a cultural festival and it isn't entertainment — it's a working day built around three things: information, access and engagement.
On Monday, 9 November 2026, government agencies, education providers, health services, legal and settlement organisations, and community groups will bring their programs to one room at Southport Sharks. Visitors can walk the floor, ask questions face-to-face, and leave with a next step — whether that's enrolling in a course, understanding a visa pathway, or simply knowing who to call.
Entry is free, interpreters are on hand, and the whole event is designed for the Gold Coast's culturally and linguistically diverse communities to walk in without a barrier at the door.

The Gold Coast Multicultural Expo is built to be accessible from the ground up.
Volunteer interpreters cover the ten most-requested languages on the day, with advance requests accommodated where possible. Tell us which language you'd prefer when you register and we'll do our best to match you with a speaker.
Families are welcome. A supervised kids' corner with crafts will be available, strollers are welcome throughout the venue, and baby-change facilities will be on site.
